Improve Credit

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a credit report?
A credit report is a document that provides a history of your credit activity which is made up of four components: Identifying information, credit history, public records, and inquiries.

How do I obtain a credit report?
You can either purchase them online from the credit bureaus website, or if you have recently been denied credit you may be entitled to a free copy depending on the state you live in and the FACT ACT.

What is a credit score?
Your credit scored is used to determine how likely an individual is to repay a debt whether its a credit card or loan. The score makes it easy for lenders to determine this based on a simple number. Every lender has their own scoring system, but most lenders use the scoring system that the 3 major credit bureaus use.

How can I improve my score?
There are several easy ways to not only keep your credit clean, but also improve your score. First, pay all your bills on time. Keep your credit card balances below 30% of the credit limit. Do not let anyone pull your credit unless your 100% ready to buy. Do not apply for any new credit if you already have 5 open lines of credit. And finally, remove all negative items from your credit report.

What are the three credit reporting agencies?
The 3 major credit bureaus are Equifax, Experian, Trans Union.

Do all three credit bureaus report the same information?
Depending on which lender you go through will determine which credit bureau the item will appear on. It could be one, two or all three bureaus.

How long does the credit repair process take?
It could take as little as 30 days or up to six months to see results . It all depends on the client and the credit situation.

Is credit repair legal?
Absolutely. The Fair Credit Reporting Act allows anyone to dispute negative or inaccurate items on their credit reports. Theres nothing we do that you cannot do yourself when it comes to fixing your credit situation. Individuals can restore their credit on their own but this can take time and a lot of knowledge when it comes to the credit laws. Thats why we are here to help since we have the experience and knowledge to get you the positive results.

What are "Credit Counselors?"
Credit Counselors are usually non profit organizations that can settle your debts and consolidate them into one low monthly payment. This is not always a benefit and can actually hurt your credit because you are giving them the responsibility of making your payments on time every month.

Do you offer a refund policy or guarantee?
Yes. We offer a 100% money back guarantee . If it has been 6 months which is equivelant to 3 disputes, and there hasnt been at least one item updated or deleted, we will refund your enrollment fee in full. If you are on a monthly plan, we will refund all monies you paid in minus initial fee.
