Bad Credit

Bad credit, also known as adverse credit, is nothing but the negative credit rating. The bad credit rating is an undesirable rating for borrowers. Bad credit means that the borrower has been not been paying the debt regularly, may have been delinquent and probably has tax liens or bankruptcies on their credit report. It could also be described as someone who is High Risk for the lenders. The credit bureaus collect the credit related data, such as, payment history, etc. of all the individuals and share it with the creditors. This information is used by the creditors to make a decision on whether to approve or decline your credit application. If you have been making late or no payments, overusing your credit or have filed for bankruptcy in the past, then it is bad credit.

It is important to note that it is not the credit bureaus that decide if you have a bad credit rating but the individual lenders. The credit rating agencies just calculate your scores but it is the policies of each lender that decide your rating as adverse. In the US, it is necessary for the lender to provide the reasons for declining the credit and the name of the credit bureau, which provided the data to the lender.

It is extremely difficult for someone with negative credit rating to repair their bad credit or establish credit, as most of the lenders will be reluctant to give you another chance. Thats when you must seek help of professional credit repair services, which will help you improve your credit rating and establish credit with lower ratings.

Act now! It is never too late to repair your credit rating.
